Hey Yuri Elkaim, just got back in from the gym and I wanted to take in a few minutes to answer the questions that recently posted in the need of energy blog and that was: What are some of your biggest Health eating challenges, challenges of eating well, and I want to deal with one of them today. That’s basically how to overcome that sweet tooth, the need for dessert after a meal at night.
Well the key here is that, a) I am scared there is somewhat of a sugar addiction or a Candida issue that needs to be addressed. Really the best way to do that is a Cleansing Program, like our Total Wellness Cleanse, but on more simple level really what you need to have is to get a solutions. You have to understand that, most like that you are going to feel something sweet after dinner, so you have couple of choices.
a) You can have healthy sweet, you know something small, not a huge portion . So not a huge pie, but may be you know, a little piece of a pie, and a pie should obviously should be healthy . I am using as an example, that’s not a very good example, but a better example would be a raw dessert . You know something may be fruit base or raw chocolate, something like that, that you wait at least you know half hour or 45 minutes after your dinner to enjoy .
b) Wait until, I mean, wait after you are finished eating . Just give yourself some time. Give yourself 30 minutes, see how you feel . Ask yourself why do I feel like having to eat something now. Is it because you have brought it up in a household that, would your parents basically have dessert after every single dinner, if that so you have been conditioned . If that is the reason, then you must know, that it is not a physiological need, but a conditioning need that we can break . Finding alternatives like going for a walk after dinner is a simple way to do this . You know something simple to get it rid of those Sugar Cravings. Drinking water is another solution you can have . Drinking even herbal tea, like once have a lot of time is liquorish tea, liquorish wood tea. As actually it has a little sweet tinge to it and a lot of times it satisfies that need because what you most realizes that when you give into that sweet indulgence after dinner you are just, you are not going to feel good afterwards or the next morning.
