I am not certified in any kind of Diet field or exercise field!!!!! Please take this as pure opinion and what works for me. Sorry this is not a funny video. But I get asked this constantly and my fingers are tired from typing it. Hey Jenna, I am just wondering how you prevent you iron from getting low during the days you do not eat meat. I was? also hopeing you would maybe do and updated video like this one…pretty please
@KarinaU212 please provide the “resource” that disprove of complete protein.
there are 8 essential proteins humans cannot synthesize and are usually easily obtained by consumer animal proteins. Also, animal proteins are considered to be more bio-available than plant based. But if you eat enough of “plants”, It is fine. The biggest challenge for Vegan diet is usually protein deficiency but that? can be avoid simply eating grains and legumes. well, soy based products as well.

@ZombVie The whole “complete protein” thing is a myth that was disproven decades ago by the EXACT same person who first wrote about complete proteins. Even? the conservative ADA has stated that plant-based diets provide more than enough protein without having to combining anything. Even if we did need to combine plant foods, there is no need for animal protein, especially seeing as how most people get too much of it which is a major cause of just about every disease

@KarinaU212 Although some vegetables do have protein in them, the human body needs a complete protein for nourishment (all nine of the amino acids in them) and blah blah blah. Anyway, quinoa and soy are the? only vegetables with this complete protein

@themusicgalx3 Sorry to tell you this, but you’re not a vegetarian if you eat ANY kind of animals. Vegetarian = no animal flesh. And FYI, most plant foods have more protein in them than animal products do. Broccoli for example has ounce for ounce more protein in it than steak does. Americans are too obsessed with protein and most get too much of it and the wrong kind. And the only people who think being vegan is hard are A. those who’ve never been vegan or B.? did it wrong and fucked up
