Losing Weight When You Feel You Can't
If need to lose weight and don’t think you can then we have a problem, there are so many people that are overweight and have trouble losing it. Believe me I was there to, I hated what I looked like in the mirror but told myself it would be too hard. I felt as if I was losing control and getting more unhappy every day.
I was always active before and had never had problems with being overweight until after I had my children. I knew that I needed to take charge of my life and get back into the swing of things.
I started doing the simple things like cutting back on what I ate as I think my main problem was the types of foods that I was eating as well as how much I was consuming. Also never exercising did not help. I mean, I was housebound with the children and sometimes never even being able to get out of my house.
This is how I changed my lifestyle
I started waking up 1 hour earlier and going for a 30 minute walk, coming back home and doing my wii fit plus
I would make time to have a healthy breakfast of cereal and skim milk.
I would have a mid day walk for just 20 minutes, pushing the stroller – great for me and the little ones loved being taken for a walk and then have a nice salad sandwich for lunch.
I started eating more vegetables, chicken, cut out fast and fried food, bread and soda. I started drinking more water and getting more active. I walked around , found new hobbies, picked up golf on the weekends, and went swimming once a week. I made things fun and I lost the weight!
You too can do this, just adapt the same principle to fit into your lifestyle. It can be done.
