In Order To Grow Taller You Can Start With A Healthy Posture

A lot of people, probably most, don’t really think too much about their posture, nor do most people understand its importance. There are a number of benefits you get with a healthy posture, and you would be surprised at the effect of posture exercises. In order to grow taller, try and learn about some rather simple posture exercises that you can perform in order to add a few inches to your height.

You have the choice to decide whether you want to make the effort at maintaining a straight posture during your day, no matter what it is you’re doing. It isn’t necessarily enough to make you taller, however. If you really want to become a few inches taller, then you will benefit by using some different posture exercises that will really help you in stretching your spine.

A simple starting exercise to grow taller is called the Bowing Down To Yourself. This is a yoga exercise that will result in improving your posture by stretching out your muscles in the region of your upper back. The exercise begins with you sitting in a chair, making sure that your back is perfectly straight. Lower your chin until it reaches your chest, taking three deep breaths and then returning to the start position. As mentioned, this is very easy to do.

Another one to try is to try the Ear To Shoulder stretch. The point of this move is to help to improve your posture, targeting the upper back muscles with an all-natural stretch. Begin in the same position as before, and inhale deeply. When you are exhaling, roll your right ear to your right shoulder, inhaling deeply again. Exhale slowly as you roll your chin back to the first position, at your chest.

After this, take another deep inhalation, and as you’re exhaling, you want to roll your left ear to the left shoulder. Take one last, deep breath, letting it out as you return your chin to the first position on your chest in one fluid, gentle and controlled motion.

The final posture exercise that you can try in order to grow taller is called the Turkey Stretch. This one will target the back of your neck, which can create a positive improvement in your overall height.

You want to start this exercise using the same starting point in the chair, and then focus on the point in front of your nose as you raise your hand to your chin. Breathe in deeply as you rest your hand on your chin, then gently breathe out. While breathing out, gently push your chin downwards towards your neck, until you can sense the stretch at the rear of your neck. When you can exhale no more, then you should repeat this movement three times.
