When you are on a weight loss program, you avoid certain foods, you exercise regularly. But what happens with some people? After a while they stop losing fat. They see initial success but after some time they hit the wall.

Why does it happen? That you exercise and Diet but there is no weight loss? There are many factors responsible for this.

No motivation. Whenever, you start a weight loss program, you are initially motivated. You eat on time, you exercise regularly, but gradually you start taking things easy. Keep your self constantly motivated. As they say everything begins and ends in mind!

Routine exercise; if you have been following one routine of exercises for 3-4 weeks, it will stop affecting your body. You either have to increase the duration of the workout or the intensity. Better still change your workout every two weeks. Don’t repeat the work out over and over again. You may join an out door activity which you enjoy.

Check your Diet. May be after the initial success, you are not as aware of your food as you were earlier. Without realizing, you might be eating wrong foods, or may be you are cheating. Keep Journal, note down everything that you eat or drink, in that journal (except water). We do not realize, but at times, we eat much more without paying attention.

Medical condition. Check you medical condition. People with thyroid problem are prone to weight gain, despite Diet and exercise.

Your body composition. Maybe the weight loss plan is not in sync with your body composition.
